CAROL VIOLETTE
Carol first started dancing when she wanted a change in career. A friend asked her if she could do anything she wanted, what would it be? For her the answer was simple. “Dance.” Now she has over thirtheen years teaching experience with The Dance Connection, teaching Ballroom, Latin and Country & Western. She started competing in Country and Western. Among other competitions in North America, in 1997, she and her partner won at the Canadian Finale in Calgary, going on to represent Canada in Orlando, Florida. They finished among the top five against fifty other couples from around the world. Carol now trains students to compete in Ballroom and Latin for competitions all over North America. She enjoys teaching at the social level too and loves helping students to just have fun.
